Graduates should be assets to society, says VC | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News

Ayolabi said inability to sufficiently prepare the young ones to become self-reliant and useful members of the society is responsible for high number of graduates who have unfortunately become liabilities to the country rather than assets. I’m confident of this particular set, they are doing excellently well and they can compete anywhere in the world. “Graduating our first set of students at the stipulated time without hitches and disruptions is a huge achievement, especially if one takes into view the rot in our educational system. Of the 120 graduating students, 22 have first class; 50 second class upper; 47 second class lower while one would be graduating with a third class. Ayolabi also announced to the gathering that the best graduating student of the school finished with a perfect score of 5.0 CGPA.
